Dating A Guy For 5 Years Is A Waste Of Time - Toke Makinwa

Toke Makinwa
Media personality, Toke Makinwa while speaking in her new Vlog said that dating a guy for over 5 years is a waste of time.
Toke who is divorced from ex-husband, Maje Ayide, said she is talking from experience as she has also being in a long term relationship. She stated that having a long term relationship does not translate to a happy married life when the couple decide to tie the knot. She said;
“I do not understand why you should date someone for more than two and a half years. That is my take. I feel like if you meet someone, two years is decent, two and half years is decent, By three years, its like ‘what again are your trying to find out’.
What didn’t you find out in the first and second year. I feel like 5 years is taking the piece and for seven years, you are absolutely having a laugh. By 10 years, it’s like ”are you the lord of the rings? I can say this because I have been in a long term relationship so I can tell you how I feel about it. My answer is no because I feel like often times, long courtships do not translate to a happy marriage.
Sometimes you find people who date forever and when they get married, they don’t make it past that year or two or three years. You find people who get married in a year and a half and 10 years down the line, they are still together. When people show you who they are, you have to believe them.
If you find yourself in a five year, seven years 10 years relationship, it is enough for you to sit back and ask the guy what is going on and where are we going to?
Why would you want to date someone for seven years. In that seven years, some people have gotten together, gotten married, had children, divorced and you are still this person’s girlfriend. There is nothing that you would not find out in three years that you want to find out in eight years.”
On the recent breakup between Cassie and Diddy, Toke said:
"Cassie and Diddy everyone is talking about. They dated for eleven years. She was a baby when they met. This was a girl who came out, had an amazing single, very stunning young lady, all of a sudden she started dating Diddy. A lot of people asked questions because we have all known Diddy as a guy who has found it had to commit. He has had babymamas, he was engaged for a very long time. He has never hidden the fact that he is not the commitment type of guy. I have always often wondered why Cassie stayed that long. This is a girl that could have done so much more in the last eleven years than traveling with Diddy, kissing him on Instalive and just being his girlfriend. If you are stuck in a relationship with someone who can empower you and all they would rather see you as is a hand bag, girl you should walk away. It semed like she was more into the relationship than her own self development. I don’t kno her and this is not judgement against her because people do whatever it is that makes them happy but I feel that a lot of people tend to date for a long time, hoping that it would either lead to marriage and sometimes it’s often not the case. And now Diddy is dating a younger girl. I almost cried when I heard it. A 26 year old girl.
Cassie if you ever watch the video, you have to upgrade. You have to go and find a Russian billionaire. You know the type if you don’t like to work, they would keep you in Gucci and Gold for the rest of your life. Then just hire Diddy to perform at your wedding. Just hire him because you feel like paying him some coins. That is the best revenge you can give to a guy like that."

“The Real Reason Why I Left Real Madrid” – Cristiano Ronaldo Opens Up

Cristiano Ronaldo has spoken up about why he left Real Madrid after attaining the status of ‘legend’ at the club.
World famous footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo has finally opened up on reason he decided to leave Spanish giant Real Madrid FC for Italian clubside Juventus.
Ronaldo said he sensed that the Spanish club’s president, Florentino Perez, no longer saw him as being “indispensable”.
“I felt within the club, especially from the president, that I was no longer considered in the same way as I was at the beginning,” Ronaldo said in an interview with France Football magazine.
“For the first four or five years, I felt like Cristiano Ronaldo. Less so after.
“The president looked at me in a way that suggested I was no longer indispensable, if you know what I mean. That is what made me think about leaving.”
The 33-year-old Portuguese superstar joined Juventus in a 100 million-euro ($115 million) deal in July, ending a glorious nine-year association with Real.
His last act with the Spanish club was to participate in them winning the Champions League for a third consecutive season by beating Liverpool in the final in May.
But Zinedine Zidane departed as coach in the wake of that game, something which Ronaldo admits confirmed to him that it might be time to move on.
“My decision to leave was not based on him going. That said, it was one of the little details that confirmed to me what I had been thinking about the situation at the club,” Ronaldo said.
He added that he would “deserve” to win the Ballon d’Or this year, and in doing so would pass Lionel Messi by taking the award for a sixth time.
The winner of the prize, awarded by France Football, will be announced in early December.
But while Ronaldo continues to enjoy great success on the field, scoring twice for Juventus at the weekend, he remains embroiled in off-pitch problems after being accused of rape in the United States.
A former American model Kathryn Mayorga, 34, of Las Vegas, accused Ronaldo in a 32-page complaint filed last month with a district court in Nevada, of raping her in June 2009, just before he joined Madrid from Manchester United.
“Of course this matter interferes with my life. I have a partner, four children, an ageing mother, sisters, a brother, a family with whom I am very close,” he told the magazine.
“That is without talking about my reputation, that of an exemplary person.
“Imagine what that is like to have someone say you are a rapist, or that you have this or that.
“I know who I am and what I did. The truth will come out. And the people who criticise me and who expose my life today, who make a song and dance about it, these people will see.”o

Tension in Bayelsa as Igbo factions disagree over cultural day celebration

Yenagoa – Baring any last minute intervention by the Bayelsa Government and security agencies in the state, two factions of Ohaneze Ndigbo may clash during the ongoing celebration of Igbo cultural day in Yenagoa.
Already, security has been beefed up at the Ox-bow lake pavilion, venue of the celebration, due to the crisis that engulfed the pan Igbo cultural group in the state.
Chief Mark Nkem is recognized by the national leadership as the caretaker chairman of the group, while the Special Assistant to Bayelsa Governor on Non Indigenes, Mr Okwudiri Chukwu Okoh, is also leading another faction.

Addressing newsmen in Yenagoa, the chairman, Igwe-In-Council for Ohaneze Ndigbo in Bayelsa, Chief Ernest Uzoefuna, said the national leadership had directed that this year’s celebration be put on hold till after the body’s election where conflicting issues would be settled.

He said they were surprised to hear that Chukwu Okoh’s led faction had gone ahead to fix Igbo Day for Saturday, after the national body had met with both factions earlier in the week.
The situation, he said, could degenerate into crisis when the two factions met.
According to him, “Article 37 of Ohaneze Ndigbo constitution states that when there is crisis, Igbo day should be put on hold till that crisis is resolved.
“The constitution is very explicit, no person should be allowed to use his personal interest to cause problem between Igbo people in Bayelsa,” he said.
He said that the national leadership of Ohaneze had already written to the state government, and the security agencies in the state on the implication of allowing the celebration to hold.
Also, the vice president of Ohaneze Youth Wing in Bayelsa, Mr Uchenna Okoro, and the secretary, Mr Nwosu Chukwuemeka, pleaded with the state government and security operatives to put the celebration on hold, to forstall any breakdown of law.

The special assistant to Bayelsa State governor on non indigenes, Mr Okwudiri Okoh, dismissed the allegation, saying the Igbo cultural day was one of the ways to unite Igbo people living in Bayelsa.
He disclosed that the day was not organized under the platform of Ohaneze Ndigbo, but the Igbo community in the state.(NAN)

There is no day Nigeria will become an Islamic nation, Oyedepo warns

The founder and President of the Living Faith Church worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has again warned Nigerians politicians over the unending killings of innocent Nigerians just as he siad that “Politicians be warned, whether in power or not in power. There is no day Nigeria will become an Islamic nation and this nation will remain one nation.’
Oyedepo gave this warning in a satellite telecast of the church’s prayer session for the nation.
The Bishop, while urging politicians to repent and have value for the lives of citizens, said if they do not repent after this warning, they would fall down for the sake of the nation.
Bishop Oyedepo
“Politicians be warned, whether in power or not in power. There is no day Nigeria will become an Islamic nation and this nation will remain one nation.
“ Allow the Christians to go to church, allow  the Muslims go to their mosque and let the traditional worshippers do their thing.
“God is giving Nigeria peace by all means, the peace of those promoting this wickedness, God is taking away, if they refuse to repent. Their supplies shall dry up because Nigeria shall not see war.
He said that every leader is just a caretaker and God remains the creator and owner of every Nation including Nigeria.
He added that Nigeria would have peace when they understand that God is in control of everything including the land.
“ When a caretaker start behaving like a landlord he will be removed. God is the permanent landlord of the earth.
“The God of heaven has given you authority and power. He has given you might and glory. Pride makes us think that we do not need God. Pride separates us from God. Nebuchadnezzar did not give credit to God, and God had enough.
“God had warned Nebuchadnezzar and had been very patient with him. But finally, the prophecy came true. All of the things that he was so proud of were taken away.
“Nebuchadnezzar had to eat grass just like the goats and cows! He was used to living in a grand palace, but now he had no shelter over his head; For 7 years, the great King Nebuchadnezzar lived out there in the wilderness like an animal.
“He lost his mind; he became crazy without God, he was helpless because he refused to listen to the warning from the Lord,” he said.
According to Bishop, God’s dominion is everlasting to everlasting and His kingdom is from generation to generation.
“ Politicians are not extraordinary people, they only have grace, if they don’t harken to this warning of the Lord they will suffer disgrace.
“Too many arrogant foes, who pose to own this nation, be warned because the day of God’s judgement is here.
“ God enthrones kings and removes kings,” he added.
Oyedepo cursed the killers of  the First Class Chief in Kaduna State, the Agom Adara, His Royal Highness Maiwada Galadima, who was kidnapped and later found dead.
He described those behind the cruel act as enemies of humanity and the Almighty God.
“All those involved in the killing of Galadima and his aides! Their generation will be forgotten. Everyone of the perpetrators they will end up in shame.
“Everyone that won’t let the Church rest. Everyone that won’t let the nation rest. Their rest is taken from them. (1 Chronicles 20:12,23-24). In the name of Jesus, this gangup against the nation will fail.
“I have said it before, if you are not angry with the wicked, you are wicked. God is angry with the wicked everyday,” he said.
Oyedepo enjoined Christians be involved in fostering the present revival of the nation by God through their prayers and evangelism, saying that they are entitled to rewards from the Lord.
The Church had embarked on seven days prayer and fasting for the nation, which ended on Sunday.

Buhari’s government borrows $10bn since 2015 – Osinbajo

[FILE PHOTO] Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo said that the nation’s debt was $73 billion, a $10 billion increment from $63 billion the present administration inherited in 2015.
He made the disclosure in Ibadan on Saturday during the 9th Public Lecture of Sigma Club at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan.
The News Agency of Nigeria(NAN) reports that Osinbajo delivered a lecture entitled ‘Developing the Nation Through Youth Empowerment.’
“In 2010 our debt was $35 billion, $41 billion in 2011, $48 billion in 2012, $64 billion in 2013, $67.7 billion in 2014, $63.8 billion in 2015, $57.8 billion in 2016, $70 billion in 2017 and $73 billion in 2018.
“The nation’s debt as at today was $73 bilłion, an increment of $10 billion from the $63 billion inherited in 2015,” he said.
Osinbajo revealed that from oil, the nation earned $119.8 billion from 1990 to 1998, $481 billion from 1999 to 2009 and $381 billion from 2010 to 2014, while present administration has only earned $112 billion from June 2015.
“The earnings from oil from 2010 to 2014 were the highest recorded in the history of the country. This is a period when the price of oil per barrel sold from $100 to $114.
He said that the most important drain on the nation’s public purse was grand corruption, saying the nation would earn more revenue if such was addressed.
“In a 2015 transaction met by this administration, a sum of $67 million was made without a purpose for it. So also is another $292 million,” he said.
The Vice President also listed lack of commitment to diversification of the economy as one of the problems which affected the economy.
On restructuring, Osinbajo said that some of those clamouring for it were those who opposed their efforts on restructuring years back when they were in government.
“Let me explain my position clearly. I am not just an advocate of restructuring, there is no other government in Nigeria that has actively pursued restructuring such as we did when I was Attorney General in Lagos State.
“People talking about restructuring, if you ask them what they meant by restructuring? They won’t even know what it means and that is the problem we have to face,” he said.
The vice president narrated how he pursued issues of restructuring to the Supreme Court when he was the Attorney General in Lagos State.
According to him, “We started with fiscal restructuring, which is more of resource control. Should states control their own resources? We went to the Supreme Court. They argued that each state should control its own resources.”
“The states that argued in favour of autonomy for states to control their resources were the oil producing states in the country and Lagos State, while some others argued on the other side because they want to share oil money.
“We lost at the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court said no, that you cannot control your resources. If you are an oil producing state, take 13 per cent extra, which is derivation.”
He said that Lagos State further argued that it had ports and the ports served the entire nation, so the state should also take 13 per cent derivation which the Supreme Court objected.
Osinbajo said that further argument led to the introduction of onshore and offshore law, which enabled the state to share from onshore resources.
“All this time, this was 2000, some of those people, including the presidential candidate of PDP, who is talking about restructuring, was the vice president then.
“They opposed every step we took. Of course, we were taking the Federal Government to court then. They opposed every step.
“The next thing we did was that the states should be able to create their own local governments, which is autonomy of states.
“So, we created 37 new local governments in Lagos. The president then, Chief Obasanjo, seized our local government funds and said we could not create new local governments,” he said.
He also narrated how they challenged the seizure at the Supreme Court and the court ruled in their favour.
“If you ask those people now talking about restructuring, none of them has done anything compared to what we have done. So, I am not a latter day convert to restructuring.
“I am an active practitioner of restructuring, and I have gone to the Supreme Court 12 times to test restructuring,” Osinbajo added.

Stop deceiving Nigerians with free education promise – Afe Babalola warns governors, politicians

Founder of Afe Babalola University (ABUAD), Ado Ekiti, Aree Afe Babalola (SAN), has on Saturday enjoined politicians, especially governors and governorship aspirants ahead of the 2019 general elections, to stop deceiving the populace that if elected, they will provide free education for the people.
Babalola gave this warning while delivering the 2018 annual Dorcas Oke Hope Alive Initiative (DOHAI), lecture entitled “Adequate funding for education and the challenges of the African child”, held at Previous Cornerstone University, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Dignitaries present at the event included: Professor Bolanle Awe, Dr. Oluremi Atanda and DOHAI founder, Bishop Francis Wale Oke among others.
Babalola, who spoke through the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of ABUAD, Professor Smandra Olarinde, declared that the government must make it clear that there is a limit to the amount of money it can provide for education in the midst of competing areas of need, hence, governors and those aspiring to be governors in the 2019 elections should desist from deceiving the people that they will provide free education when elected.
He added that time has come when African countries must face reality of its economic and financial circumstances to made its education sector more attractive and capable of fulfilling their national aspirations.
Babalola in his forty-page paper said, “The government must make it abundantly clear that there is a limit to the amount of money it can provide for education in the midst of competing areas of need.
“The politicians, particularly those aspiring to be governors should stop deceiving the populace that, if elected, they would provide free education. This is how we came about several state universities which are only universities in name and are not better than glorified secondary schools. You must have read reports on how students in a state university hire sheep pens for accommodation and the surrounding bush as toilets.
“Time has come when African countries must face the reality of its economic and financial circumstances and do what others elsewhere do to propel their universities to institutions of national relevance, capable of fulfilling their national aspiration.”
Babalola, while speaking further, added that years of economic mismanagement, failure of successive governments among others are other factors that have contributed to the dwindling state of education of African child.
He said, “Years of economic mismanagement have further compounded matters. As a result of these and more, governments have not been able to adequately fund education. Whether education can be funded without adversely affecting other crucial aspects of the economy continues to attract debate. But, worthy of note is the fact that even in the early years of free education before the advent of the problems associated with modern-day Nigeria, the government of the Western Region, in particular, is noted to have found it difficult to fund other important sectors of the economy.
“It is, therefore, no surprise that things are even more difficult now. Sometimes ago, it was reported that students in a secondary school in one of the states in the South West had been asked to donate two six-inch concrete blocks each”.
Babalola who hinted that various factors affected the status of education in Africa, however argued that all hope is not lost saying that African leaders and major stakeholders must rise to restore the lost glory of education.
He said, “It is evident that a combination of factors has affected the education of the African child. They are lack of true federalism among the states created at Berlin conference in 1884, failure of successive African governments to invest adequately in education, poor leadership, uncontrolled population, poor working conditions and environment in our universities.
“All hope is, however, not lost. We all as Africans, and major stakeholders and leaders in the education sector, have pivotal, sacred and indispensable roles to play in contributing our strategic opinions and efforts to reversing the current trend.”

Suspect Arrested In Florida Over 12 Bombs, Suspicious Packages

This handout mugshot obtained courtesy of the Broward County Sheriff’a Office shows an August 2015 booking photo of Cesar Sayoc, who the US media on October 26, 2018 identifies as the suspect in connection with 12 suspicious packages and pipe bombs sent to critics of US President Donald Trump.
HO / BROWARD COUNTY SHERIIF’S OFFICE / AFP
US investigators have arrested a suspect in Florida in connection with 12 suspicious packages and pipe bombs sent to critics of Donald Trump in a days-long spree that has inflamed the United States ahead of key midterm elections.
The Republican commander-in-chief congratulated law enforcement Friday for what he called an “incredible, incredible job” as US media identified the suspect as Cesar Sayoc, a 56-year-old man with a criminal history.
“These terrorizing acts are despicable and have no place in our country,” Trump told an event at the White House, confirming a suspect had been apprehended following an FBI-led nationwide manhunt mobilizing hundreds of agents.
“But the bottom line is Americans must unify and we must show the world that we are united together in peace and love and harmony as fellow American citizens,” the president added.
The Department of Justice was to hold a news conference on the case at 2:30 pm (1830 GMT).
In southern Florida, FBI agents and police swarmed the area around a strip mall in Plantation, where an AFP photographer saw a van covered in blue tarpaulin loaded onto a truck by authorities and being driven away.
Pictures broadcast on television showed the van plastered with pro-Trump stickers.
Much of the investigation had homed in on Florida in the last 24 hours, where officials reportedly believed that at least some of the packages had been sent. Media described Sayoc as living in Aventura, Florida while also having ties to New York.
Since Monday homemade bombs and other suspected explosive devices have been addressed to Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Hollywood megastar Robert De Niro and a litany of figures loathed by the US president’s supporters.
Trump under fire
On Friday, an 11th package addressed to Cory Booker, a New Jersey senator often touted as a Democratic presidential hope, was intercepted in Florida, the FBI confirmed.
A 12th package, identified by police as a pipe bomb, was found at a US Post Office in Manhattan and removed by the bomb squad, New York police said.
James Clapper, among a string of former intelligence chiefs critical of Trump, was the addressee of the 12th package, sent care of CNN.
On Wednesday, the news network evacuated its New York bureau after a similar package was found in the mail room addressed to another frequent CNN guest, former CIA director John Brennan.
Trump earlier came under fire for his response to the spree, which politicians on all sides have branded domestic terrorism with devices intercepted in New York, Maryland, Florida, Delaware and Los Angeles.
On Friday, shortly before news of the arrest broke, he complained that the packages were slowing momentum for his Republican Party ahead of the November 6 elections, remarks bound to enrage his opponents.
“Republicans are doing so well in early voting, and at the polls, and now this ‘Bomb’ stuff happens and the momentum greatly slows — news not talking politics,” Trump tweeted.
“Very unfortunate, what is going on. Republicans, go out and vote!”
Trump was also criticized for tempering calls for unity in the wake of the attacks, by lashing out at the press for stirring up “anger.”
He recently endorsed the body-slamming of a reporter, routinely denounces the press as “fake news” and has leveled toxic remarks in the past against the pipe bomb targets.
‘They were dangerous’
Despite little information on whether the man in custody is suspected of working in cahoots with others, New York’s state Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo disputed speculation that the devices were not rigged to explode.
“No one can say there were fake bombs, they were dangerous,” he told CNN. “There may be questions about the levels of sophistication.”
Double Oscar winner and biting Trump critic De Niro on Friday urged people to vote the midterms, one day after a device was discovered at the Manhattan offices of his production company.
“I thank God no one’s been hurt, and I thank the brave and resourceful security and law enforcement people for protecting us,” he said. “There’s something more powerful than bombs, and that’s your vote. People MUST vote!”
“This is definitely domestic terrorism,” Clapper told CNN Friday, hitting out at Trump saying he bore “some responsibility of civility in this country. He needs to remember that his words count.”
The packages were sent in manila envelopes with bubble wrap, marked with computer-printed address labels. Each listed Debbie Wasserman Schultz, former chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, as the sender, including misspellings of her last name, the FBI said.
Wasserman Schultz told reporters in southern Florida that it had “devastating” and “deeply disturbing” to have had her name used.
“I’ve been told by the FBI that this is their highest priority and they’re on top of it,” she said.

Davido's Camp Members Attack Tiwa Savage Over Raunchy Video With - Wizkid

Davido and Aloma
In his deleted post on Instagram, Aloma who seems to be involved in technical works claims Tiwa Savage's role in the video sets a bad precedent in the Nigerian society as it encourages young men to go after older ladies.
He made his views while making comparisons between Davido's 'Assurance' music video and Wizkid's 'Fever' video.
Excerpts from his post read:
"Davido assurance vs Wizkid fever
Why on earth will you compare this video? fact you don't know:
1. Davio found his heart desir but Tiwa found her OWN heart desire.
2. Chi (Chioma, Davido's girlfriend) is single while Mum Jamjam (Tiwa Savage) is divorced.
3. You learn good vibes from Dav (Davido) and Chi but in other ways you learn how to run after someone's wife or little boy."

Aloma closed with a message sympathising with the Savage's embattled husband, Teebillz, who is holed up in the United States of America.
Teebillz hasn't uttered a word since the romantic video surfaced. The young man has earlier vouched for Tiwa Savage when rumours emerged that Wizkid was involved in a romantic affair with the songstress.
There are concerns that Aloma's views could intensify the age-long rivalry between Davido and Wizkid which was however publicly settled last year December.

Mourinho Blames National Coaches For United’s Injury Woes

Jose Mourinho believes the national coaches of Belgium, Scotland, Portugal and Chile are at least partly to blame for Manchester United’s current injury problems.
The United manager suggested several of his players were struggling with fitness issues going into their first game after the recent international break, a 2-2 Premier League draw at Chelsea last Saturday.
Belgium midfielder Marouane Fellaini, Portugal right-back Diogo Dalot, Scotland’s Scott McTominay and Chile forward Alexis Sanchez all returned from international duty carrying knocks.
But Mourinho’s frustration was intensified by a claim the coaches of those countries did not keep him in the loop as to what was going on, meaning he only found out how bad they were when they returned just before the Chelsea match.
In contrast, England full-back Luke Shaw and Serbia centre-half Nemanja Matic were both released early from international commitments when it was clear they were not fit.
“All of them (who missed Tuesday’s Champions League 1-0 loss to Juventus) were in their national teams,” said Mourinho in his press conference ahead of Sunday’s home Premier League clash with Everton.
“We played against Newcastle and we went into the national team period in a good situation.
“Then after two weeks, we lost Dalot in Portugal, we lost Fellaini in Belgium, we lost Alexis in Chile, we lost McTominay with Scotland.”
Mourinho — who will be without the out of form Sanchez on Sunday due to a groin injury — conceded not all national team coaches behaved in such an irresponsible way.
“Some of the national teams were very professional with us, and they send the players back and we could state the process early,” said the 55-year-old Portuguese.
“Some of them, they weren’t, and they kept the players, and we didn’t even know the dimension and the nature of the injury, so when the players arrived here, two days before Chelsea, we have no idea of what is going on.
“But we have to deal with it, and now we are trying to resolve problems step by step. I think if Jesse (Lingard) can be available, it can give us some help.”
Mourinho, though, has no intention of trying to re-sign LA Galaxy forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic to ease his injury problems.
The former Sweden striker has suggested he might return to the Premier League at the age of 37 but Mourinho shot that down in flames when asked if he would consider the move, the United manager answered: “No.”
Romelu Lukaku will continue to lead the attack on Sunday, despite Mourinho’s admission the striker is short of confidence.
Lukaku has gone eight games without a goal for his club, but the manager has backed the Belgian international to come good.
“I always feel that,” said Mourinho.
“I always feel the next game is the game.
“I feel that every game. One day it will be and one day he will score, and one day his confidence levels will be back to normal, which really they are not there.”

England forward Welbeck struck a 78th-minute winner in Portugal as he punished a mistake by former Liverpool defender Sebastian Coates to hand Arsenal a third win in three matches in Group E.
Unai Emery’s Gunners have now won 11 games in a row in all competitions — the club’s best run since 2007 — and are on the verge of qualifying for the Europa League last 32.
Gennaro Gattuso’s Milan dropped their first points in Group F as goals from Antonio Sanabria and Giovani Lo Celso, on loan from Paris Saint-Germain, earned Betis a famous 2-1 win in Italy.
Patrick Cutrone grabbed a consolation for Milan who finished the game with 10 men after Samuel Castillejo saw red for the hosts in injury time.
Olympiakos beat Dudelange of Luxembourg 2-0 in the group’s other fixture, while there was more misery for Brendan Rodgers and Scottish champions Celtic in Germany.
Brazilian striker Matheus Cunha and Portugal winger Bruma, who scored against Scotland in a friendly this month, were both on target in the first half as RB Leipzig won 2-0.
Salzburg picked up a third successive victory to stay top of Group B as Munas Dabbur netted twice in a 3-0 defeat of bottom side Rosenborg.
Chelsea can take a large step towards the knockout phase when they host BATE Borisov of Belarus later, while Steven Gerrard’s Rangers face Spartak Moscow in Glasgow.
