ARSENAL HIJACK EMIRATE CUP

July 31, 2017 STRING JAZZ 0 Comments

Arsenal on Sunday lifted the much coveted Emirates Cup in spite of a 1-2 loss to Spanish side, Sevilla, in their final game at the Emirates Stadium in London.

Arsenal came into the final game leading the group on eight points, ahead of German side, RB Leipzig, on five points, which had earlier in the day defeated Benfica 2-0.

Sevilla needed to beat the hosts by two clear goals to stand any chance at winning the trophy.

Both sides had few chances at goal but were unable to make their opportunities count as the first half ended goalless.

The Spaniards, however, dictated the pace in the early stages of the second half and took a well-deserved lead in the 49th minute.

Arsenal stood still, waiting for the offside flag to go up as Wissam Yedder fed Joaquin Correa in the area.

The Sevilla forward wasn̢۪t off and slotted home the opener from close range, beating the onrushing goalkeeper Petr Cech to the ball.

The goal sparked live into the game as the hosts began to pile pressure on the Spaniards as they went on the prowl for the equaliser.

Mesut Ozil fed Aaron Ramsey, who laid the ball off to Alexandre Lacazette and the Frenchman side-footed an effort on target but the keeper gets down low to stop it in the 57th minute.

Ozil again tried to link up with Lacazette in the 60th minute but the duo were scuppered.

The pressure, however, paid off three minutes later as Lacazette scored his first goal at home for Arsenal.

The 46 million pounds striker side-footed home at the back post after a lovely run from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

But while the stadium was still buzzing, Steven N̢۪Zonzi collected the ball from the edge of the area and curled in a stunner in the 68th minute which made the atmosphere at the Emirates very flat.

Arsenal had another chance in the 77th minute to equalise but Aaron Ramsey's shot from outside the box narrowly missed its target as the midfielder tried to poke past goalkeeper Sergio Rico.

Asari Dokubo Blasts Don Jazzy & Davido Over Diezani Alison-Madueke

July 31, 2017 STRING JAZZ 0 Comments

Former Niger Delta militant leader, Mujaheed Asari Dokubo, in a video that has long gone viral on Facebook, have weighed on the recent claim by the Nigerian Government that it recovered $90 billion from former minister of Petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke.
According to Asari Dokubo, if the Nigerian Government truly recovered such amount, then they won’t be need to borrow from foreign institutions to finance infrastructural development across the country. He also slammed Nigerian music stars, Davido and Donjazzy for condemning the former minister without first seeking the truth.
Here’s what he said;
“Nigeria is now a country of liars, ruled by liars, and managed by liars. How can somebody just wake-up and claim Diezani embezzled $90 billion? Multiple that amount of dollars with the value of one dollar to the Naira and tell me what the sum is.
How much is the Nigerian budget? If Diezani actually embezzled such an amount of money and has returned the loot, why is the federal government still trying to borrow money for infrastructure development?
Buhari can lie. He lies like a fish. All the people around him are liars. How much did Buhari loot from the NNPC during his time as Petroleum Minister? N2.8 billion. How much did he loot from PTF during his time as Chairman of the fund? Okadigbo panel sai
“Those without character are accusing others of lacking character. If Diezani really stole what she is accused of stealing, let them prove it against her. Then that… that calls himself Don Jazzy will open his mouth… Davido, children will open their mouth. Davido has not talked about his uncle Isiaka Adeleke; Bola Tinubu; Fashola; even Awolowo, From where did Awolowo make his fortune?”

Shocking News!!! BILL GATE ain't longer the world richest man.

July 29, 2017 STRING JAZZ 0 Comments

There is a new name at the top of the world wealth league – Jeff Bezos. The founder of Amazon has overtaken Microsoft’s Bill Gates to claim the title of world’s richest person.Jeff Bezos leapfrogged Gates, who has been the richest man on the planet since 2013, after a rise in the share price of Amazon ahead of its latest results due later on Thursday.

According to a real-time billionaires index compiled by Forbes, the rise pushed the value of Bezos’s fortune to $91bn (£69bn) – compared with Gates’ wealth of $90bn. Their riches are calculated on the share prices of their respective companies and at the current values, Bezos’s stake is twice as big as the carmaker Ford.
Bezos – born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1964 – keeps a relatively low profile, but has used some of the wealth he has amassed to buy the Washington Post and invest in space travel through Blue Origin, a company he founded in 2000.
He founded Amazon in 1994 when he sold books from his garage in Seattle before expanding into a huge range of other products and capturing the global rush to online shopping. Amazon now accounts for 43% of everything sold online in the US and 64m people have signed up for its Prime service – which gives access to free deliveries and video streaming.
Amazon shares have soared this year – making the company worth more than $500bn and boosting Bezos’s wealth as he owns 17% of the company. He also has a number of other investments, including in Google, Uber, Twitter and Airbnb, worth more than $5bn.
At the start of 2017, Bezos was ranked fourth richest in the world, behind Gates, the investor Warren Buffett and Amancio Ortega, who founded Inditex, the company behind retailer Zara.
The share price rally comes despite accusations by Donald Trump, during the US election campaign, that Amazon was “getting away with murder, tax-wise”. He said Bezos was using the Washington Post for “political influence”.
In January, Bezos pledged the full legal resources of his company to fight the travel ban instituted by the new US president against seven Muslim-majority nations.
Amazon floated on the stock market in 1997. Every year Bezos reprints the letter he sent to shareholders that year, insisting it is only Day 1 for the company and pledging to focus on the long-term and be the market leader.
He has not joined the club of billionaires who pledge to hand over the majority of fortunes to charity – started by Gates and his wife along with Buffett – but recently tweeted to ask for philanthropic ideas to help in the short term, which he said was in contrast to his long-term approach to running the business.
“I want much of my philanthropic activity to be helping people in the here and now – short term – at the intersection of urgent need and lasting impact.”
Forbes started tracking billionaires in 1987 and Bezos is the seventh person to hold the title of the world’s richest person. In a report on his rise to the top of the rankings, Forbes said Bezos would not be at the top if Gates had not given so much of his wealth away and has calculated that Gates has been the richest person in the world for more than half the 30 years it had been watching the wealth of billionaires.
The closing share price of Amazon and Microsoft on Thursday will determine whether Bezos cements his position at the top of the league. Microsoft’s shares were down on Thursday.
Technology stocks have been outpacing the rest of the US stock market but wobbled last month amid concerns that the sector might run off steam. Amazon and others then started to rally again. It remains to be seen whether Bezos is able to permanently claim the top slot.
Amazon has now expanded beyond retailing. It now sells cloud computing services to thousands of businesses ranging from Netflix to the UK’s ministry of justice. It also makes TV shows and the Echo smart speaker, which allows users to speak to Alexa, an electronic personal assistant.

[ROAD TO SUCCESS] Mistakes That Fall Students’ GPA In Colleg and University.

July 27, 2017 STRING JAZZ 0 Comments

For everything, there is a cause and effect. Your GPA doesn’t just go down without certain mistakes on your part. If you have realized that your academic performance needs attention, then it is not too late to take necessary actions. This article exposes the possible 15 mistakes that may have contributed to your GPA drop.
Using gpa calculator, so many persons are having less than 2.5 on a GPA scale of 5.0. Although there are events you cannot change or avoid; such as getting sick, getting bad news and so on. However, there are avoidable GPA killing mistakes.
This article is intended to answer the following frequently asked questions:
1. How do I raise my GPA in university?
2. What makes my GPA go down?
3. What are the strategies to raise my GPA in university?
4. What are the mistakes that kill GPA?
5. How do I maintain a good GPA?
6. Is it true that 100L and 200L GPA is usually low?
Identify them below and boost your performance as soon as possible.
GPA KILLING MISTAKES YOU MUST AVOID.
1. FAILURE TO OVERCOME PROCRASTINATION
The 14 letters above is the grave where opportunities are buried. Don’t push things to the future if you can address them in the present. Killing time is not murder, it is suicide. Don’t wait for the exams to be close before you begin adequate preparations.
One reason you should stop swimming in the ocean of procrastination is that you cannot predict the future. Today is the only asset you are sure of. Say no to procrastination.
2. COMPARISON
Comparison is not a proof of anything. Life is not to compete but to complete. You say; “Mr A uses this approach and it works for him, so let me do the same” or “I want to be like peter”. Now, who is Peter? I don’t know but certainly not you. Just be unique; look for what produces the best result for you and stick to it.
3. PRIDE
Nothing kills your GP faster than when you begin to form ‘Mr Pompous’. when you are proud, you become too heavy for people to carry. Humble your self to learn what you don’t know. Ask questions, seek help even from your juniors.
4. YOU ARE TOO SHY
You are too shy to relate with people. Have you forgotten that according to research, you
remember a lot when you teach others or engage in group discussions? if your GP being affected because you are shy, it is time to work on yourself.
5. BAD COMPANY
Are your close friends those who are not serious academically? then stop complaining about your poor performance. Like I always say, your friends are the picture of your future. Review your association immediately.
6. YOU SLEEP TOO MUCH
You can’t be sleeping too much and expect your GPA to be awake. Too much Sleep hasn’t helped you o. You need to check and balance that thing that makes your eyes always close.
7. YOU BLAMES OTHERS
You always have reasons to blame your lecturers or friends for your poor performance. In the beginning, it was not so. The earlier you start taking full responsibilities for your life, the better.
8. YOUR LAST SUCCESS
You relaxed because you did very well the other time. Have you forgotten so soon that your last achievement is your greatest enemy? it doesn’t make sense, but it does. Look back occasionally but forward continuously.
9. YOU SETTLED FOR LESS
You decided to take anything that comes your way. Have you forgotten that any GP can be 0.5? go for what you want. Don’t let anyone tell you to settle for less. Your GPA trend continues until you decide to aim for the very best.
10. INCONSISTENCY
It is better to die standing than to continuously live in your kneels. Don’t have a scattered academic or reading life. Be consistent in your dealings.
11. SKIPPING CLASSES
Some of the things your lecturer say in class are the prophecies of your exam questions. You skipped the class, there you missed the rhema. Academic Rhema is the key to your success.
12. YOU DIDN’T COMPLETE THE SCHEME
The part you left out may likely come out on the exam. Try to cover as much as possible before the exam. The issue of not completing the scheme can be overcome by starting early and being consistent.
13. ADDICTION TO TECHNOLOGY
Your addiction to Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, twitter, games, films, phones and so on, are not helping matters as well. Try to put some limits on your social life.
14. NOT IMPROVING YOURSELF
Self improvement is the beginning of self discovery. Don’t use last session’ information to solve this semester’s reality. Learn how to answer exam questions. 15a in school politics/unionism you are there without thinking of what brought you to campus it will also make your GPA drop
15b . DISTRACTIONS FROM OPPOSITE SEX
You should be able to explain this one better. You are permitted to allow distractions from the opposite see b . That is, if it doesn’t’ affect your GPA. Else, run very fast. Tell yourself the truth in this aspect. I just want to make common sense..

A newly player bought by Arsenal

July 11, 2017 STRING JAZZ 0 Comments

His signing has eclipsed the £42.4million the North London club forked out to bring Mesut Ozil to the Emirates from Real Madrid in 2013.
After a potential move to Atletico Madrid fell through after Diego Simeone’s team were brandished a transfer ban, Arsenal quickly stole a march on other potential suitors.
He enjoyed his most fruitful season in front of goal last campaign – banging in a whopping 37 goals in 45 games for Bruno Genesio’s men.
His tally of 28 Ligue 1 goals was only bettered by Edinson Cavani of Paris Saint-Germain who notched in 35 in the French top-flight.
has never played domestically outside of his native France, having made his debut for Les Gones at the end of the 2009/2010 season. Originally a winger, he converted from the flanks into a fully-fledged centre-forward, becoming one of the most lethal marksman in Europe in the last three years.
